Why 51% black ownership

This is not something that is new to many people on this mailing list.  51% black ownership (as determined by the BEE codes of good practice) gets you a level 2 if you are an EME (turnover less than R10m under most BEE codes) or a QSE (turnover between R10m and R50m in most codes).  Once you’ve got this you sign an affidavit and you are a level 2.

51% black ownership is also useful if your turnover is more than R50m because your BEE scorecard attracts more points on your clients’ own procurement score. 

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU MOVE UP TO 51% BLACK OWNERSHIP – A TOP UP OPTION

We only offer solutions that talk to the BEE codes but that are are primarily concerned with the preservation of your business.  If you have some black ownership but not enough to get you to sign an affidavit as a QSE,  or less than 51% if you are a large business we can offer you a top up.  Our solution follows the rules we discussed in a previous email
